Inches: Aston is inches away from bring the home side back on level terms.

Just wide: Barry this time skips by Noble, but sends his left-footed curling effort just wide of Green's far post.
Over: Barry's left-footed effort is deflected over by Ferdinand.
Villa: It's all Villa at the moment. The visitors are looking more likely to score than The Hammers.
Elsewhere: Good news for Villa is that Newcastle have equalised at Goodison Park.
Mayhem: Carew's shot from point-blank range is saved by Green. Petrov tried to win a penalty moments later, but his drive fooled no one and he was subsequently booked.
SUB With McCartney suffering from a hamstring strain he has been replaced by Paintsil during the interval.
47 mins: Boa Morte runs at Villa's defence and fires in a shot, but the effort is comfortable for Carson.
Corner: Carew's low cross is deflected behind by Tomkins for a Villa corner.

Wide: Noble's first-time shot bounces wide of the far post. Carson was at full stretch in the Villa goal, but the ball bounced harmlessly wide.
Blocked: Zamora's shot from just inside Villa's penalty area is blocked.
Elsewhere It's not good news for Villa fans with Everton now leading at Newcastle.
32 mins: BOOKING - Mellberg, on his last appearance for the club, is booked for catching Boa Morte.
31 mins: Young's through-ball picks out Agbonlahor, but the striker can only lash his left-footed effort well wide. The angle was against him.
28 mins: The majority of the game is being played in the middle of the pitch at the moment.
26 mins: Petrov escapes a booking for hauling down Noble from behind.
Chance: Petrov's low cross for Carew is just missed by the big Norwegian striker. Any sort of a touch from the striker looked odds-on to result in a goal.

20 mins: Tomkins is back up on his feet and should be fine to continue.
Man down: Tomkins is down injured for the home side after landing awkwardly following a challenge with Carew. The home fans were unhappy Dean stopped play with Boa Morte virtually clean through on goal.
End to end: Despite letting their lead slip, West Ham remain positive. It's end-to-end football here. Expect more goals.
14 mins: Reo-Coker's neat through-ball picked out Young and his superb first-time finish gave Green no chance of a save as the ball rolled into the far corner of the net.

Booking: Parker is rightly booked for a rash tackle on Petrov. How will Villa respond to going behind?
Free-kick: From the free-kick Carson makes a mess of Solano's shot and allows the set-piece into the net. The on-loan keeper should have kept out the shot. Solano opted against celebrating as a mark of respect to his former club.
