The England guys are buzzing after our win yesterday.
It was a top all-round performance against a West Indies side who are extremely strong in this form of the game.
We bowled in decent areas and our fielding was excellent, with the pressure created generating run outs - and we were really chuffed for Ryan Sidebottom when he took that stunning diving catch to remove Shiv Chanderpaul.

Batting wise, it was obviously great to get some runs under my belt. I've been watching how the other batsmen go about opening in the warm up games, and they all give themselves a few sighters to get a feel for the bowling and the pitch.
Confidence
This is crucial when you are taking on international bowlers and it's something I am working on in my gameplan - giving myself a chance. At the other end Ravi Bopara looked in superb touch and his immense confidence rubs off on the team.
We're confident that if we can hit our straps like we did last night, we'll get a positive result that will set us up for the Pakistan game on Sunday at the Oval.

We'll be practising hard this afternoon and the guys will be looking to groove their disciplines.
For bowlers, this means making sure the bouncers, slower balls and yorkers are coming out well.
Batting wise, it's not simply a case of swinging as hard as you can and whacking the ball.
Generally speaking, the guys will be looking to nail the basics of their defence and working on particular shots like the fine sweeps etc. The big shots tend to take care of themselves.
The first game up is Holland at Lord's and we will be giving them due respect.

Although Pakistan did lose yesterday, they are an extremely dangerous side and I reckon that one will be a cracking game.
We're in a World Cup at home and I know the guys can't wait to hear the roar of home support.
The fans are certainly our 12th man and if they can get behind us and cheer the things we do right, it will make a massive difference.
Rest assured, we will all be busting a gut on the field, doing whatever it takes for England to be successful in this competition.

luke and ravi done well tonight, but not to much to say on the other batsmen that followed, stuart had a Mare of a night bowling ,and his other antics ,,but i still dont know why players like sidebottom & collingwood get picked to play and captain a 20/20 national team, seems like the old boys network is still pulling all the strings, i mean wheres napier and whats wrong with trego being picked?
