Cheerleader charms mystery man

Last updated: 10th February 2010

Bowled over
While Rocket was there for the music the same can't be said for five sizeable Spurs supporters, who were rather more keen on badgering your friend and ours into performing the 'we love it' dance in the middle of a busy Brixton Academy.

Quotes of the week

The 49ers cheerleaders certainly made an impression on some of us on last week's show, and Max had quite a troupe in tow when he went down to the O2 Super Bowl bash.

Not that he could help much when it came to blagging into the VIP section - luckily a more reliable contact ensured everyone made it through the red rope!

Safely in among the bigwigs, one intrepid hero - who shall remain nameless - eschewed the free champers and instead made straight for the pom-pom girls.

Our mystery man got on so famously with one lucky lady that the pair...left hand-in-hand? Not quite. Swapped numbers? Er...not exactly. Agreed to keep in Facebook contact? Bingo!

Needless to say, and much to the amusement of everyone in the office, that friend request is still 'in the post'.

It could be a lonely Valentine's night for one lovelorn soul then, but plenty of the boys - and girl - have their plans in place for the big day.

A nice candlelit meal will do the job nicely for most of us, but we'll spare those of a delicate nature and keep to ourselves what Tom told us he has lined up...

Hopping mad

Rocket's choice of night out this week was sensible enough - the excellent Jamie T's London gig - so who could have known it would end in such indignity?!

While Rocket was there for the music the same can't be said for five sizeable Spurs supporters, who were rather more keen on badgering your friend and ours into performing the 'we love it' dance in the middle of a busy Brixton Academy.

Never one to shirk his responsibilities, Rocket duly obliged and everyone went home happy.

But not as happy as Rocket's colleagues are to see him Taking One For The Team - again - this weekend for the unforgivable error of getting TWO Millwall players' names wrong on the Crossbar Challenge.

We're confident someone will manage to radar in on Rocket's rear end and he'll be hopping about like a lunatic for the second time in a week!

See you on Saturday!
