Queudrue: Back to his best
Franck Queudrue and David Sullivan have patched up their combustible relationship at Birmingham.
Blues owner Sullivan branded French full-back Queudrue a 'pile of rubbish' six months ago, much to the defender's disgust.
The club supremo had launched a tirade against a number of players he believed had failed to provide value for money since their arrival at St Andrews.
The situation was then made even worse when Queudrue was late reporting back to pre-season training over the summer
Birmingham boss Alex McLeish made the former Middlesbrough man available on a free transfer as a result, but has seen the 30-year-old respond in the best possible manner.
Having lost weight and rediscovered his best form, Queudrue now believes his summer war of words has finally been resolved.
"He (Sullivan) apologised, I've accepted and we've been men about it," he said.
"It's all behind me now, we all want Birmingham to get back into the Premier League.
"The owner wants the best for Birmingham and that's why he was so disappointed. There are no hard feelings."
Sullivan added in the matchday programme ahead of the Blues' weekend clash with Sheffield Wednesday: "I was wrong to criticise Franck last season.
"He knows that because I have apologised to him personally, no-one is happier than me to see him back in action and doing so well.
"He is a model professional and we have been seeing the best of him of late."
