Richard Denmark (West Ham United fan) says...

Looking at the reports today, I see West Ham are in for Joe Hart? He is a great young keeper but he will be sat on the bench as Robert Green is our No 1. Or is this a sign he may be leaving in the summer??

Olly Tucker says...

Being a Manchester united fan I would love to see joe cole join in the summer on a free, he is an amazing attacking player and should be playing for a club who are known for being an attacking force. And Frey the goalkeeper, foster is not good enough to be Manchester uniteds number one.

kevin phillips to sign for leeds united end of the season to replace jermaine beckford

Peter Renner (Arsenal fan) says...

I believe Arsenal will never win anything unless we stop selling are best players to other club's. Arsenal are starting to become a selling club, if you look at chelsea and manu they never sell anyone unless they want to. If we can keep the players at this club next season and add a class goalkeeper backup central Defender and a striker ( Marouane Chamakh ) Then we should have a team that is good enough to win stuff. This will mean that the young players at the club can develop.

Den Lingfield (Leeds United fan) says...

Now that January has passed it's great we've kept Beckford; he may sometimes be lazy and selfish but at the end of the day he's a goalscorer. I'm also really happy with the signings of Max Gradel and Gary Mcsheffery they could both be lethal on each wing the only problem is fitting Snodgrass into the team with them two in it. If Leeds want to challenge in the championship next season though they need some new full backs. Crowe just isn't good enough and we may not need a new left back due to Ben Parker and Aidan White but we certainly cant keep playing Andrew Hughes there!

Peter Lacey (Manchester City fan) says...

Don't get me wrong, I hope all goes well for James Milner in the talks with Villa, but if these break down I don't think there's a better player Man City could buy if they are still looking to bolster their midfield. Unfortunately I don't go to live PL games that often (to me the best way to judge a player)...but I saw him play some years ago at Charlton on the right for Villa... and even on that side he liked to cut in...meaning of course his left being the primary foot. Because he lacked ability on his left, this curtailed him and often forced him to try the cut inside and shift again out to the right movement to try and turn the defender. What has really impressed me since then watching on TV, is not only his all round improvement, but the amount of work the lad has put into his left foot ability...which I think has culminated to full fruition this season. An outstanding talent obviously, but also an excellent example to young players of the benefits of hard work and constantly working on weaker spects of your game...because his excellent attitude shines through the ability he now has with both feet. Sod the likes of Robinho...if I was Mancini I'd be closely monitoring this situation and if the opportunity arose make an offer for him Villa would find hard to refuse.

John Sweeney (Everton fan) says...

I really hope the rumours about Senderos coming to Everton are not true, from what i've seen one of the worst defenders in the premier league would not even want him on a free transfer. Kilgallon would be a much better signing for Everton

Posted 08:28 21st January 2010

Connor Irwin (Everton fan) says...

Jermaine Beckford would be a great signing for Everton, as Everton have already showed they take players who they think have potential and turn them into Premier league class footballers. Jermaine has already prooved recently in the game against United that he has premier league class as he didnt give the United defence a minutes peace. He would be a key signing for Everton and could have the potential to be a world class footballer.

Glyn Thomas (Liverpool fan) says...

I hate to say this but I wouldnt like to see stevie leave liverpool but I wouldn't blame him. How long can he go on keep carrying poor players, you can see his game is starting to suffer. I know liverpool supporters wouldnt like it, but would you be happy in a day to day job carrying people and the boss keep saying we are united ? ( The only difference is he get's a big pay packet) go for it stevie you have been good for Liverpool now put yourself first. Liverpool & the fans will miss you for sure!!!!!!!!!

Chris Swann (Newcastle United fan) says...

Is Steve Bruce for real, ¿40m for Jones?????? he isnt even worth ¿15m, Bent is far and away a better player Jones hasnt been a prolific scorer for Sunderland, 6 goals in 20 games, compared to the likes of drogba, van persie and torres

Michael Howes (Leeds United fan) says...

If Beckford wants to leave, just let him leave, £2 million is a great deal for someone whos contract runs out at the end of the season. Find a quick solution and replacement to Jermaine, such as Gary Hooper from Scunthorpe. Talented goalscorer and is still only 21.

James Tinsley (Liverpool fan) says...

I am NOT happy with that statement that rafa benitez has to consider any big money offers for steven gerrard or fernando torres, it is unacceptable we can not let 1 or 2 of our best players go when next season our main aim is to win the league without world class player we will never win the league, what rafa really needs to do is sell the not so good players around them and replace them with good players or world class players and then we will start winning trophies and the league. Manchester made that mis-take selling ronaldo and not replacing him with another world class player owen has been and gone and beckford could do a better job than owen upfront for united! Rafa if you see this message DO NOT SELL THOSE TWO PLAYERS WE NEED THEM MORE THAN ANYTHING!!!!!!

Callum Pratt (Birmingham City fan) says...

Ben Foster to sign for Birmingham sometime this transfer window for £5 million on a 3 and a half year contract.

Frankie Killick (West Ham United fan) says...

im a very worried west ham fan , i believe that we have strong confidence in zola and the players to get us out of trouble but if we sell the likes green , upson , parker , behrami and cole who has developed into a world class striker we are bound to go down , its like admitting to defeat. And regarding of finding out would be best to takeover west ham why dont the current owners ask the fans who they think should takeover we know who would be best. and dont wait untill next year to sell we need to sell now so we dont have to sell our players. west ham to win 3-1 sunday and to finish the season 10th.

Matthew Babbs (Manchester United fan) says...

As a Man Utd fan, i can't help but be a little relieved about the position we are in at the moment; i.e. 2 points off the top, progressed nicely in the champions league and semi-final of the carling cup. This is despite playing poorly throughout the season. It is imperative that Fergie buys some players in the January transfer window as our lack of depth was shown against Leeds (which they thoroughly deserved to win) In my opinion Berbatov and Nani should get 6 months to prove their worth or else they're out, Berbatov could be forgiven for lack of goals if he put in the effort which he doesn't and Nani just has no end product and needs to bulk up. I think Hulk would be a great signing, although cup tied in the Champions League he has great attributes for the Premiership. Also sadly looks like Nemanja will be on his way out in the summer, he is a quality defender BUT can be replaced without too much hassle. In my opinion if £30 million comes in, then sell and buy a cheaper younger version such as Chiellini. As for January Hulk could be a shout but i get the feeling Fergie will stick with his squad but expect some big changes in the summer if the next 5 months are like the last 5 months. Come on you REDS P.S. Congratulations to Rochdale F.C. Looking good for promotion and playing some quality football.

Nigel Heathcote (Leeds United fan) says...

Had a call this morning from a contact, he is a football agent saying that Beckford wants to sign again for Leeds bit will wait till his contract runs out, by doing so Leeds will have to pay him a transfer fee and he will know what LEAGUE Leeds are playing in next year, he wants to stay as he does not want to be sat on the benck like Delph is, Leeds Utd know he wants to stay and he they are just drumming up the clubs profile by saying he wants to leave, by doing this they get the PR publicity to attract other players to the club

Posted 09:35 6th January 2010

Ben Stanbury (Arsenal fan) says...

i think arsenal need someone like carlton cole, then our wingers can run off the big man, we also need upson to bolster our defence as if gallas or vermeallen get injured we have no one who is a capable defender, maybe even shawcross, if not carlton cole its got to be chamakah or kalou, we need some fire power!!! gttuso would be an amazing buy but i cant see it happening

Posted 09:22 6th January 2010

Sanjeev Banik (Arsenal fan) says...

I would still try and get the great legend Thierry O Henry back but thats not going to happen. I have seen some displays of Chamakh and he is just brilliant, although still not available in January. Mr Wenger has not done a bad job with Arshavin and Vermalen so I still trust his instinct but yes a strong TALL centre forward would do us a lot of good, maybe even Van Nistlerooy.

Simon Davidson (Manchester United fan) says...

A friend of mine who works in Manchester heard at Old trafford today United are going to swap Berbatov for Ribery. Would be a great deal to get rid of Berbaflop
