With Ian Poulter's withdrawal from the Ryder Cup race - he is left hoping for a wild card - six players are competing for the last three qualifying places in Europe's team for Valhalla.

Justin Rose, Soren Hansen and Oliver Wilson are in at the moment, but Martin Kaymer, Ross Fisher and Nick Dougherty could knock them out in the Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles. You can watch the tournament live on Sky Sports 1 from Thursday.

This is what they must aim for to have a chance:

- Dougherty: needs second place if Wilson misses cut, needs to win if Hansen or Rose miss the cut

- Fisher: needs third place if Wilson misses cut, needs second if Hansen or Rose miss the cut

Kaymer: needs 26th place if Wilson misses cut, needs sixth if Hansen misses the cut, needs fifth if Rose misses the cut
