Salford prop Steve Nash will miss the Reds' next two games after undergoing surgery on his thumb.

Nash, 22, played in the opening five matches of the engage Super League season.

But after going under the knife he is unlikely to be available again until at least the visit of Warrington to the Willows on April 10.

Salford have struggled since returning to the Super League at the start of the season, winning just once during the first six rounds.
