George O'Grady: Big announcement

Golf Night

7.30pm, Thursday - Sky Sports Xtra
8pm, Friday - Sky Sports 3
7pm, Saturday - Sky Sports 2
7pm, Sunday - Sky Sports 2

Rob Lee and Di Stewart bring you the best action form the World Cup in China and the Australian Masters in Melbourne, all week on Golf Night.

The World Cup event sees some of the world's best players pairing up to take on the Jose Maria Olazabal course at Mission Hills in Shenzhen.

England have a great chance with the pairing of Ian Poulter and Justin Rose, but face stiff competition from Trevor Immelman and Retief Goosen (South Africa) and Miguel Angel Jimenez and Jose Manuel Lara (Spain) among others.

Down Under, Thomas Bjorn has pulled out of the Australian Masters, but we should still be in for some sizzling action at the challenging Huntingdale Golf Club in South Victoria with the likes of Robert Allenby, Stuart Appleby, Aaron Baddeley, Michael Campbell and Richard Green involved.

Later in the week, we will cross to the States for coverage of the UK Skins - in its 25th anniversary year - where Masters champion Zach Johnson, Ryder Cup team-mate Brett Wetterich and fan's favourite Fred Couples take on defending champion Stephen Ames of Canada.

On Thursday night we'll be looking at the European Tour's announcement regarding the richest tournament in the world planned for 2009 in Dubai. We hear from George O'Grady, the European tour supremo plus we get reaction from a number of the big-name players.

We'll also be meeting Ernie Els as he launches his latest range of Christmas clothing and looking back at a tough week of Q-School on Friday's show.

Mark Roe, Tony Johnstone, Simon Holmes, Denis Pugh and Simon Hawkesworth will be here throughout the week to bring you all the very best expert analysis and coaching advice.

So be sure to join us on Golf Night for another week of great shows.
