Elite League clubs strengthen squads ahead of 2008-09 season
Manchester Pheonix have secured the services of experienced Canadian defenceman Kenton Smith as the Elite League clubs continue to bolster their squads ahead of the 2008-09 campaign.
The 28-year-old, Smith joins the Pheonix from the Charlotte Checkers who compete in America's third-tier ECHL.
Edinburgh Capitals have also added to their squad by completing the signing of fans' favourite Adam Stefishen.
The 26-year-old returns to Scotland after a successful campaign with the Capitals last season saw him score five goals and provide 10 assists in his 64 competitive games.
Cardiff Devils have also brought an ex-player back to the club by completing the signing of Canadian goaltender Peter Aubry.
The 31-year-old has returned for a second spell with the Elite League side having played 54 games in the 2004-05 season.
