A total of 16 Catalans Dragons players have been named in France's 23-man squad to compete in the Gillette Four Nations series.

Newly-appointed captain Olivier Elima and Australian-born duo Clint Greenshields and Casey McGuire are all among those named in the touring party.

A third Australian hoping to represent France, Adam Mogg, has withdrawn from the original squad because his partner is expecting a baby.

The remaining seven players not based in Perpignan are Mathieu Griffi and Constant Villegas from Championship club Toulouse, the Carcassonne trio of Romain Gagliazzo, Christophe Moly and Teddy Saddaoui, Pia scrum half Maxime Greseque and UTC winger Frederic Vaccari.

Halifax prop Said Tamghart and former Harlequins hooker Julien Rinaldi are among the players cut from the original 30-strong squad.

Former Wales coach Stuart Wilkinson, who has held assistant coaching roles at Leeds, Wigan and Widnes, has been appointed to Bobbie Goulding's backroom staff.

France kick off the tournament against England at Doncaster on Friday, October 23, before hosting New Zealand in Toulouse and Australia in Paris.
