It's Olympic year, so Cricket AM launched a campaign to find the best athlete in county cricket... welcome to Cricathlon!

Each week we put three teammates through their paces over three especially adapted events.

There was a 60-metre sprint, in full cricket gear, carrying bats, then the Stump Javelin as they had to hurl a timber as far as they can and finally the high jump, where players had to clear the bar from a standing start.

Points were awarded for each event and added up, leaving one overall winner.

And after a long hard season of competition, the winner came from the very last competition as Warwickshire's Jim Troughton edged out Graham Wagg of Derbyshire to claim the gold.

But just how good were our county pro's scores? We decided to head to a local athletics club and asked one of their athletes to take on our Cricathlon challenge! See how he compared in the video on the right...
