Stuart Powles (Norwich City fan) says...

Marcus the leeds fan needs a reality check. The only people claiming to be a big team are leeds. If anyone fown here is a big club, wot are they doing in this division. If norwich get off to a good start i can see us going up with huddersfield. Im not greedy, i'll take second. Leeds to come 3rd/4th and lose in playoffs (AGAIN). Just face it marcus, your a small club, with over-ambitious beliefs!!

Geoff Porter (Peterborough United fan) says...

Last season,we played most of the clubs in contention this season so I think Im in a good position to give an opinion. Of the promoted clubs I like Brentford and of the relegated clubs I like Norwich. Add into the mix MK Dons, who was the 3rd best team last season, Leeds United, Millwall and Charlton and there is your top 6. Forget the rest. Sorry Guys

Carl Linley (Leeds United fan) says...

if leeds don't get automatic promotion then it will be another year in league 1. oh and the 8 million that we got for delph is only going one place and that ken bates back pocket he only sign's players on a free.

Gary Pick (Leeds United fan) says...

Like most people I believe we will go up this year and hopefully as champion. Although I think Beckford is lazy he will score goals and added to that I see Bechio getting similar to last season. I wouldnt be surprised if Grella gets 10 this season along with Snodgrass with Robinson , Kilkenny and Howson chipping in. Kisnarbo and Higgs are quality signings and my only worry at the back is Naylors age as we have seen before pace goes quick and mistakes cost you ie Butler but we have good cover there. I dont think Delph will be that much of a miss at this level as others can do a job but cant understand how we couldnt afford the wages for Douglas and Richardson when clubs with less financial muscle seem able to. Just think we need one name people know off to really make people take notice. Come on you mighty whites back to back promotions.

Marcus Slater (Leeds United fan) says...

Leeds will blow everybody away this season - 10 points (at least) clear by Christmas - Millwall to get relegated (small club - small minded supporters) - who else comes up with us I don't care because there are all small fry - Norwich, Charlton big clubs ! Ha don't make me laugh !

Phil Brown (Leeds United fan) says...

LEEDS WILL GO UP THIS YEAR , NEED TO GET OFF TO A GOOD START AND GET THE MOMENTUM GOING. FORGET ABOUT THE CUPS AND CONCENTRATE ON LEAGUE. I can see norwich doing a leicester as they have no pressure on them as the media focus is always on Leeds being the biggest team in league. dons and possibly huddersfield in top 6 . Millwall and southampton to go down.

Matt Hibberd (Leeds United fan) says...

3rd Times a Charm after missing out on the last two season in the play offs. im confident we have a very good manager on board. simon grayson turned leeds around when he arrived and im so looking forward to seing this season pan out. Leeds Finish Top and on the road back to the premiership!

Jackson Chay (Norwich City fan) says...

The mighty Norwich will fight it out all season with Leeds and pip them to the post for the title, I see MK Dons as a threat and will finish 3rd behind Leeds. Kick it off, throw it in!.............................

Michael Carter (Southend United fan) says...

although i like mr beagrie i cannot agree that oldham will struggle,,,dave penney has made astute signings and parker and abbott will score plenty with the service taylor will give them,,plus sheridans demise was his own fault as good nights out started to become more important than three points on saturday

Ivan Powell (Leeds United fan) says...

To John Williams LFC fan. thanks for your comments on leeds utd you proved me wrong as i thought everyone still hated the mighty dirty leeds, and especially coming from a lfc fan. in return good luck this season to LFC and i hope you spank the red scum pls

Linda Ford (Norwich City fan) says...

Now the horror of relegation is a dim memory I look at the new Norwich team and begin to think that perhaps it was the best thing that happened to us. We have struggled for years with poor management on and off the field , living on hope that the next season and manager would do better.!This season with a new chief executive who knows something about football and a team put together by Brian Gunn and his team that seem to know how to play at this level and WANT to play for Norwich dare we hope? A 25,000 sell out crowd for Saturdays 1st match seem to think so.

Karl Hartley (Blackpool fan) says...

Leeds should do it, us seasiders know that Grayson is the League One promotion master. Amazing really to see so many big clubs in this division. Good luck to Gillingham as well, got a soft spot for that side.

Dave Ryan (Leeds United fan) says...

While I am a diehard Leeds United fan, I can see that it will be one hell of a challenge to win the League One Title this year. I don't wanna see another heartbreak in the play offs because 3 failures in 4 years has left me skeptical that we won't win the play offs. Should we hang on to Beckford, we will score goals, with Becchio and Snodgrass also helping. Robinson, Howson, Grella and Kilkenny could also do well this season. Should Grayson use Kandol, I think he will also do well. I'm gonna say third times the charm and we'll go up as Champions or Runners Up. But as for our rivals, I agree that Norwich are the team to beat. They have done exactly the same as Leicester did when they came down and therefore are in pole position to win the title. Charlton will be a force to be reckoned with. Millwall, i think, will also be a team to watch, although they seem to have a good season and then a bad season, so we'll see what they do. MK Dons were unlucky not to go up last season and Ince will do wonders for them, I expect them to be up there in the end. Huddersfield may push for the play offs, although I don't expect them to go up. I think that the dark horse is Gillingham. Simeon Jackson is a brilliant player and Mark Stimson has a good setup there. I don't think they'll go up, but I think that they'll be up there at the end of the season. So my picks for Promotion are: Leeds & Norwich automatically with MK Dons or Charlton winning the play offs. But all aside, good luck to all other League One teams this season, let's make it a great season!

Jamie Fletcher (Bristol Rovers fan) says...

i have a really good feeling that this could be the season for rovers, we have a really strong squad. hopefully lambert can get 30 goals this season and duffy and kuffour can get 20-25 goals aswell if we do that i think we can reach the play-offs. No offence to leeds but i don't think they will achieve promotion this season. i don't think leeds will have the strength to come up against the norwich and the charltons and the mk dons but i think leeds will be up there come end of the season. COME ON ROVERS !!!

Simon Watson (Swindon Town fan) says...

i reckon swindon town to go up this year we will miss mr cox but the football we are playing at the mo is superb.danny wilson is one of the best managers about at the mo.

Colin Henderson (Leeds United fan) says...

This just has to be Third time lucky for Leeds this season. But we must do it through automatic promotion, I do'nt think our supporters could bear another Play Off disaster. Come on Leeds lets do it in style. PS Good luck Fabian at the Villa we hop to be playing against you soon back in the Premiership. Cheers Colin

Ryan Scollard (Leeds United fan) says...

I would just like to ask Peter Beagrie, does he think that Leeds could win League 1 this year! I believe (as a Leeds fan) that a 'big' team like Leeds should be challenging for the Premiership! But we are nowhere near that stage yet but they should be! This will be their third year in League 1 and for a team like Leeds, that shouldn't be! So if Peter could reply to this message i would greatly appreciate it! Thanks
