I think it was a very competant performance from Ricky on Saturday. I was at the fight and I heard a lot of Mancs complaining after that he didn't knock him out, or that he looked knackered by the end. But Lazcano is no mug. He lost an arguable points decision to Castillo, and has beaten good fighters. And he has a very good chin. Ricky was knackered cos he fought at 100 miles per hour for 12 rounds as usual, and there were a lot of haymaker air shots in the first few rounds. He could have stayed out of trouble, jabbing and moving for the last few rounds but that's not his style. And he wanted to give the fans a good fight. I think he can beat Mayweather. He fought a terrible fight last time around. He got too wound up and frustrated, partly because of the ref, and resulted to clubbing shots on the outside. He needs to fight more on the inside. Although Mayweather will make it difficult being such a good defensive fighter, he hardly threw any decent body shots or his lovely shot, the 45 deg left uppercut. I just can't wait for a trip to Madison Square Garden to watch him take on that berk, Malignaggi before the rematch we all want to see, when Ricky can prove himself to be the best pound for pounder in the world.

I was there saturday and i thought it was a really pulsating fight even if Ricky won it easily. Going on to his next fight against Malignaggi I think Ricky will have an easier night's work, he doesn't seem to have that much in his locker. I think N'dou will be really disappointed not to have to got the decision, Ithought he nicked it. Further in the future is the one we all want - a rematch against Mayweather at Wembley. This time he'll knock him out

I think its time the Hatton critics get off his back, so what Ricky lost his first ever fight against the pound for pound best Boxer on the planet, id like to see anyone beat Floyd, Oscar DeLaHoya never got stick when he was beat by the better man, it`s just typical of Britain to knock our own heroes. Ricky lad, you did yourself proud saturday night, you fought every minute of the 12 rounds, and gave 56000 fans what they had paid for, none of us wanted a quick 1st round KO, we wanted a battle and you delivered, not taking anything away from a fantastic Juan Lazcano either, he was in great shape. Bring on Malinaggi Hatton will end his hopes in the top flight, then perhaps a fight against Cotto, thats the real humdinger. Ricky Hatton is a true credit to his profession and his Country.

I think Ricky done well, considering the pressure he must have felt going into this fight, with the size of the event and coming off his first defeat. I think the critics have to get off his back, come on now, one loss in his careeer and not even at his preferreed weight! He has proved he still has it, and if the fight with Paulie Malignaggi goes ahead, I can see him winning, going on Malignaggi's preformance on Sayturday night!
